Why we started
We started Miraaj on a simple belief: getting from A to B should never be a source of stress. Transport is the bridge between where you are and where you need to be, whether that's a child heading to school, a professional on the way to the office, or a traveller stepping off a long flight.
We saw how hard it was for families and companies to find transport they could trust completely, and we set out to treat every trip as our top priority.
A husband-and-wife business
We don't run Miraaj from a distance. We build it together, side by side, every day, and the business carries the values of our own home: trust, support for each other and a shared work ethic.
Running it as a couple, we know the everyday pressures our passengers face. We understand the rush of getting to work on time, and the worry parents feel when they trust someone else with their children's journey to school.
Our drivers and our standards
Our drivers are fully vetted, licensed and professional, and they know our local roads inside and out. Punctuality, empathy and safety are the values we work by. We're licensed for charter and tourist work, and every vehicle carries passenger liability cover.
We don't believe in shortcuts. Because our family name is on every vehicle, we always aim to give the best service we can.
From staff and scholar transport to tours
Much of our work has been staff transport, scholar transport and government contract work across the Western Cape, the Cape Peninsula and the West Coast. Now we're opening the same door-to-door service to visitors, with airport transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport, private transfers and day tours. Table Mountain and the Peninsula are our favourites.
